Tano Safaris

Small, locally owned safari company in Nairobi run by Elvira, a Kenyan who grew up travelling the country's remote areas with her scientist and vet parents. It plans private, tailor-made holidays across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda, drawing on more than twenty years of the team's own travel in the region, with an emphasis on wildlife, culture and landscapes. The name means five in Swahili, a nod to the five senses.
