Community-driven trips from the hills of Kisoro

Kalorero Tours & Travels was founded by a Kisoro native who returned home after working in Uganda's tourism industry, and it focuses on the far south-west where Uganda meets Rwanda and Congo. Packages cover gorilla and golden monkey trekking in the Virungas, Lake Mutanda, and Batwa and Bafumbira community visits, with an emphasis on keeping benefits local.
