Zani Ethiopian Tours was established in 2015 by two former local guides from the Omo Valley and has offices in Jinka and Addis Ababa. Named after a Hamar and Benna word for a knotted rope used to count days, it specialises in Omo Valley cultural and photography expeditions and also runs Lalibela, Gondar, Simien, Bale, Danakil and Harar itineraries.
